Demotapes Volume 1-5 (1989-1997)
I started making music a long time ago. It was the 80's, and I already had become a connoisseur of electronic music. After discovering artists like Tangerine Dream, Jean-Michel Jarre and Depeche Mode I was captivated by the sound of electronic instruments and synthesizers. I started playing piano years earlier, but was often bored with the limitations of acoustic sounds. I wanted a synth, and after a few different models of keyboards I finally got a Korg Poly 800 mkII, soon followed by a Roland TR-505 drummachine and another synth, a Casio CZ-1000, and I started making simple tracks.
Now, 35 years later it's time to share some of my early recordings with you. After scowering through boxes and bags of old cassette tapes I found a few well worth a listen. The earliest tracks I could find was recorded in 1989, and they are featured on volume 5. The firstvolume features some of the last tracks I made using hardware in 1997 and each volume takes us further back through time.
All tracks was recorded on cassette tape back in the days, then digitally remastered and in some cases re-edited in 2020. Please note that all tracks may have occasional audio drop-outs on both channels and general imperfections in sound quality..
